The International Journal of Safety Engineering (IJSE) is currently under development. We aim to publish high-quality research papers, review articles, and case studies in all areas of safety engineering and risk management.

Pre-Launch Submission Guidelines

Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts should be prepared in English and follow academic writing standards.
  • Include a title page with the title, authors, affiliations, and contact information.
  • Provide an abstract of no more than 300 words, outlining the research objectives and findings.
  • Include keywords (3-5) that reflect the main topics of the paper.

Formatting Requirements

  • Use 12-point Times New Roman font with 1.5 line spacing.
  • Number all pages consecutively and include author names on each page.
  • Organize content with clear headings and subheadings.
  • Figures and tables should be embedded in the text with clear captions.
  • Ensure all references follow a consistent citation style (preferably APA or IEEE).

  2. Subject Line: Use the format: "Pre-Launch Submission: [Your Paper Title]"
  3. Cover Letter: Include a brief cover letter stating the relevance of your research to safety engineering.
  4. Review Acknowledgement: You will receive an acknowledgment email within 3 business days.
  5. Peer Review: Submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process.
  6. Publication: Accepted manuscripts will be scheduled for the inaugural issue.

  • References are complete and correctly formatted
